WELCOME!

The Chinese Physical Culture Association of Fullerton is a non-commercial martial-arts organization that currently offers kung fu classes at California State University, Fullerton. Practices are open to the public, as well.

Also, the CPCA of Fullerton is the parent organization of the CSUF Kung Fu Club, a student group governed by elected board members and that acts as a liaison between the campus and the CPCA of Fullerton.

Since 1971, our organization has shared the virtues and benefits of Asian martial arts with the Southern California community by perpetuating the system of self-defense created by our founder, Sigung (Master) Ted Lai. This eclectic style of kung fu has been posthumously named Lai Chung Ch’uan Fa in tribute to Sigung Lai. We invite you to join us in experiencing this unique art.

Sigung (Master) Ted Lai shatters six 1-inch wooden boards with a single palm strike.

Sigung Ted Lai shatters six 1-inch roofing tiles with a single "sword chop" technique (circa 1970s).
